- Account info: email, username, OAuth profile data
- Conversation data: messages, AI responses, extracted Facts
- Usage data: access logs, IP address, browser info, timestamps
- Analytics data: page views, in-app events, approximate (IP-derived) location, and device/browser info, collected via Google Analytics 4 — only after you consent
- Payment info: processed by Stripe; we do not store card details

- Providing, maintaining, and improving the Service
- Managing conversation context (topic detection, Fact extraction)
- Customer support
- Usage analysis and fraud prevention
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:
- Service providers: Cloudflare (infrastructure), Stripe (payments), Google (AI model provider and, with your consent, Google Analytics)
- Legal compliance: when required by law
4. AI Model Data Transmission
Conversation content is sent to a trusted third-party AI service to generate responses. This includes the context Polarist compiles for each turn (recent turns, topic summaries, extracted Facts). Please review the respective provider's privacy policy.
5. Data Storage
Data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure. Anonymous user data is deleted after 7 days. Logged-in user data is retained while the account is active.

- Access and correct your data
- View, edit, or delete extracted Facts
- Delete your account (including all data)
- Export your data (planned feature)
7. Cookies
We use cookies for authentication session management at all times. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are set only after you accept via the consent banner — under Google Consent Mode, analytics storage is denied by default, so no analytics cookie is written until you opt in. You can decline, and you may change your choice at any time. We never use advertising cookies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time without prior notice. Changes take effect when posted to this page. Please review this page periodically for updates.
